And just to make this post a little more interesting, here is a little sneak peak at the reflective journal I’ve been working on all semester.  The assignment is to visually record our experiences after each day of teaching.

I can’t believe my last day is the day after tomorrow… crazy.  Tomorrow I will be setting up the exhibit so check back for pictures =)

Okay here they are:

A key that matches the one on the outside of the book, some stitching, and an instax self-portrait (I am so cool, I know.  It’s not as weird/cheesy in person, TRUST me.)

At the top of this you can see the bottom of that instax photo (just to give ya a little context)  =)

I will be posting more pages soon.  Hopefully.  Definitely.  (And probably full page shots too, I got a little shy with this one!)

It measures about 4.75 x 3.5 inches, so it’s little and cute, and has 32 pages.  One day when I open my Etsy shop (it’s going to happen, I promise… hopefully soon) I think I might sell something like this.  I love how small it is and I could switch up the colors and the heart and the number of pages and and and… !!

Okay so here’s what’s gonna happen: I am blogging every day in February.  EVERYDAY.  (Yeah yeah, I chose the shortest month, so what?)  So get ready to party.

I’m teaching a visual journaling and bookmaking class for the next several weeks, and the picture above is of the sample book I’m working on and I’m going to make posts with my progress.  Mmmhmmm beautiful.  Also I have been meaning to make artist posts (both past famous artists and contemporary, but I want to start out with the old onez) so hopefully there will be a little of that, too.

I hope you guys, my readers, are still with me… cause things are about to get a little more interesting around here =)
