A little while ago The Naked Redhead tagged me to do this whole Happy 101 thing, so GET READY cause here I go.

This is what I’m supposed to do:

1. Watermelon Slices

SO GOOD.  And you can’t find them everywhere, but it’s probably a good thing that my grocery store doesn’t carry them.  They are usually at Target and CVS, unless you’re in Chicago.  One weekend in Chicago I searched endlessly for my beloved watermelon slices and never found them (although I think they might have them there now, this was a few years ago.)  I think they are better than Sour Patch Kids by FAR (although those are a good second choice when watermelon slices cannot be found.)

Oh, and I love real watermelon slices too of course.

Okay I had to include this picture, because I accidentally found it about 5 seconds after I started looking for pictures of watermelon, and if I had actually been TRYING to find a picture of penguins building a snowman out of watermelon, it never would have happened.  Ever.

You like??  I’m a little too shy to post a picture of the entire thing.  It’s sweet/mushy soo… little snippets will have to do.  I like the small details in it anyway more than the big picture.

Today I am going to NASHVILLE, TN.  Crazy, right?  My friends from Virginia are making the drive there today and I’m meeting them and we’re going to have an amazing girl’s weekend.  I hardly EVER get to see them so I am really excited.  I need to rush around right now and get a book on tape for the drive, try and find some cowboy boots, and clean my house… but expect a Nashville post sometime next week.  Or follow me on Twitter… I am sure to be updating.

While he was at the gym today I snuck over to his apartment, set this up on his bed, and filled his fridge with beer (something he was WAY too excited about.)  He got back right as I left for my three hour class and now he has to wait until I get back to open the presents, haha.

I made him one of the presents (hopefully he doesn’t look at this until he’s opened it… uh oh)  so I’ll post pictures of that tomorrow, and some other things I’ve been working on.

Can’t believe it’s already August… MY birthday is coming up soon too.  Which means the summer is almost over… ohhh no.

Yesterday I was REALLY sick and this boy brought me food to make me feel better <3 !!

I was supposed to spend the day at the pool today but it’s cloudy and probably not warm enough… maybe tomorrow?  Instead I’ll just get some more work done on my top secret project =)

I want them.

Last night this boy made me dinner… crab cakes and pasta with alfredo, yummy

It was delicious, no matter what HE says.

My computer is still hurting pretty bad.  I took it to the SHADIEST repair place, and now I’m panicking and going back first thing in the morning to rescue it.  If they hurt my baby I’m going to be pretty upset.

Right now I’m trying to do some work on my print portfolio, but it’s not easy since I have pretty much everything on my computer.  I’ve taken and edited photos for The Stomach Series, an ongoing project I started in the spring of 2007, which I’ll make a post about and add to the gallery tomorrow.

Have you heard about the Untitled Art Project?  A couple people think I should do it (Donald, Alison, etc) but I’m not so sure.  I need to make my mind up soon though… the casting call is THIS Thursday in Chicago.  Ah!  I guess if I can’t get my print portfolio together in time my mind will be made up for me.  I don’t really have anything to lose though… filming starts in September and I’m graduating mid-August and have no plans.  So why not, right?
