If you did, you could sew on to pretty pink ribbons instead, and attach the ribbons to the front & back, or leave them long enough to tie the book closed! I, too, dream of one day having an etsy shop, but I don't know if I would be able to keep it properly stocked with goods! But maybe some day... Did you sew on to tapes?
