Day 9 already?!  I came across this article today and thought I’d give it a try.  I’m always saving empty bottles and other things like that, and I’ve been trying to get into painting anyway, so it seemed like it’d be a fun thing to do.

It turns out I like painting a LOT more if I’m not trying to make the painting look like anything.  I chose a painting (a Monet) and went to work… and got completely frustrated and failed.  I WAS having fun mixing colors though so I decided to not let the final outcome ruin the fun I was having, and I put the Monet out of my mind and just went to town.

And now I have a painted wine bottle.  Maybe I’ll use it as a vase?
